~Film-to-Wedding Inspiration: Breakfast at Tiffany's~

Per the request of our wonderful reader, Cheyenne, today's "Film-to-Wedding Inspiration" comes to us from Audrey Hepburn's infamous, "Breakfast at Tiffany's!!!" (Thank you Cheyenne!)

This film is full of distinct color contrasts--I always think of the black & white of her classic outfit with the robin's egg blue of the little Tiffany boxes! If I were to imagine a wedding inspired by "Breakfast at Tiffany's," I  would see pearls, bling, and lots of these classic, yet modern touches.  So, with these accents in mind, here's today's "Film-to-Wedding Inspiration" board! I was just discussing (in yesterday's post…here) how photography can make the most impact on exhibiting the exact theme you're going for on your big day! Go big, because it's your time to shine and HAVE FUN WITH IT! Bring some oversized balloons to hold or find some old, vintage chandeliers to hang from trees for a great photo backdrop!

A "Breakfast at Tiffany's" inspired-wedding allows you to be bold, but classic with your bridal and bridesmaid fashion selections.  Who says you have to wear white to your wedding? This elegant and modern black dress, with pearl detailing, looks like a 2012 version of Audrey's famous dress! Why not put your bridesmaids in the understated and subtle Tiffany blue to make your dress even bolder? It would be that exact contrast between light and dark colors like in the movie! 

And how cute is this mini Audrey?!!?!?! It would be absolutely, ADORABLE to have your flower girls look like mini-Audrey Hepburn's and it would add that sweet, touch of whimsy to your special day!
